General Terms and Conditions for Events and Participation
1. Scope of Application
These terms and conditions apply to all tickets, participation, applications, and bookings within the scope of SCALPVERSE by SHÆDE, including the Competition, visitor access, and the speaker, demo, and exhibitor areas.
2. Tickets & Participation
All tickets are personal and valid exclusively for the registered individual. Resale or transfer is permitted only with the prior written consent of the Organizer. By purchasing a ticket or participating in SCALPVERSE, the participant accepts these Event Terms and Conditions.
3. Program Changes
The Organizer reserves the right to make organizational changes regarding schedules, program items, speakers, jury members, categories, procedures, and venues, provided that the overall character of the event is not substantially altered.
4. Competition
The Competition takes place primarily on latex practice skins. Separate categories involving live models may be offered, provided that a sufficient number of models are available. Participants commit to maintaining professional, hygienic, and respectful conduct. Judging is conducted by the jury based on internal evaluation criteria. Recourse to legal action is excluded.
5. Personal Materials
Participants in the Competition, as well as Demo Speakers, are generally required to bring their own necessary working materials—specifically machines, needles, inks/pigments, and personal tools. Work surfaces, lighting, and basic hygiene supplies will be provided by the Organizer.
6. Models
Visitors may voluntarily apply to serve as models for SMP (Scalp Micropigmentation) or Areola Reconstruction procedures. There is no entitlement to be selected as a model or to receive treatment. Any follow-up treatments or additional sessions are not automatically included as part of the event and must be arranged individually with the respective artist.
7. Exhibitors, Speakers & Demo Speakers
Spaces for exhibitors, speakers, and demo speakers are limited. Details regarding booth areas, technical requirements, setup times, and organizational prerequisites will be communicated individually. The Organizer reserves the right to reject applications or proposed collaborations without providing a reason.
8. Photography, Videography, & Media Recordings
During the event, photographs, video footage, and audio recordings will be created. By entering the event, the participant consents to the use of such recordings by SCALPVERSE by SHÆDE for press, documentation, social media, website, and marketing purposes.
9. Refunds & Cancellations
Ticket purchases are generally binding. A refund will be issued only in the event of a complete cancellation of the event by the organizer. No entitlement to a refund exists in cases of non-attendance, illness, travel difficulties, or personal reasons.
10. Conduct & Exclusion
SCALPVERSE stands for professionalism, respect, and community. The organizer reserves the right to exclude individuals from the event in cases of inappropriate behavior, disruption of the event proceedings, discriminatory conduct, or violations of hygiene or safety regulations. In such cases, there is no entitlement to a refund.
11. Liability
Participation in the event is generally at one's own risk. The organizer assumes no liability for personal belongings, travel expenses, or accommodation costs. The organizer shall be liable solely for damages resulting from intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Accommodation, Travel, & Additional Costs
Hotel accommodation, travel arrangements, parking fees, and personal incidental expenses are not included in the ticket price.
13. Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. German law shall apply.
